SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Notification 2026: Age Limits (as on 31 December 2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Candidates must have been born not earlier than 01 January 1996 and not later than 31 December 2004 (both dates inclusive).

Age Relaxation (Upper Age Limit)

• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years

SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Selection Process 2026

The selection process for SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) Recruitment 2026 consists of the following stages:

• Online Examination
  The online exam includes an Objective Test and a Descriptive Test. Candidates must qualify in the online examination to be considered for the next stage.
• Screening
  Applications and documents of candidates who qualify in the online exam are examined by the Screening Committee. The committee verifies whether the candidate fulfills the required experience criteria and whether the submitted job profile matches the job profile of an SBI Scale-I Generalist Officer.
• Interview
  Candidates shortlisted after screening are called for an interview. The interview carries 50 marks, and candidates must secure the minimum qualifying marks decided by the Bank.
• Local Language Proficiency Test
  Provisionally selected candidates must qualify in the local language test of the applied circle. Candidates who have studied the local language in Class 10 or 12 are exempted from this test.

Final Selection:
The final merit list is prepared circle-wise and category-wise by combining marks of the Online Test and Interview in a 75:25 weightage ratio.
