Sub Inspector Vacancy 2025 Selection Process

The selection process for Rajasthan Sub Inspector Vacancy 2025–26 is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC). It consists of the following stages:

Written Examination

• The written test includes two papers:
  • General Hindi – 200 marks, 2 hours
  • General Knowledge & General Science – 200 marks, 2 hours
• Total Marks: 400
• Candidates need at least 36% marks in each paper and 40% overall to qualify.
• There is negative marking (⅓ mark deducted per wrong answer).
• Around 20 times the number of vacancies are shortlisted for the next stage.

Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

• Male Candidates:
  • Height: Minimum 168 cm
  • Chest: 81 cm (unexpanded), 86 cm (expanded)
• Female Candidates:
  • Height: Minimum 152 cm
  • Weight: Minimum 47.5 kg

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

  • Long Jump: 13–15 feet
  • Push-ups: 5–7
• Female:

  • Shot Put (4 kg): 14–16 feet
• Ex-servicemen: Relaxed criteria.
• The PET carries 100 marks; minimum qualifying marks are 50%.

Interview (Personality Test)

Final Merit List

• Final selection is based on combined scores from:
