Pay Scale & Basic Salary

• Appointed under the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), Level 12, with a grade pay equivalent of ₹4,800.
• Starting basic pay ranges from ₹44,300 to ₹44,500 per month.
• With experience and annual increments, basic pay can rise up to approximately ₹1,40,100 at the top of Level 12.

  • Dearness Allowance (DA): Typically around 42–53% of basic pay.
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA): Varies with city classification; between 8–18% of basic pay.
