Age Relaxation:

• PwBD + SC / ST: 15 Years (Maximum age up to 56 years)
• Central Government Civilian Employees (UR): 5 Years (after 3 years of regular service)
• Central Government Civilian Employees (OBC): 8 Years
• Central Government Civilian Employees (SC / ST): 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: Length of military service + 3 Years

Important Note:

• The required 2 years of experience for Diploma holders must be completed after obtaining the essential qualification and registration.

 AIIMS NORCET 10th Phase Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection for Nursing Officer posts will be conducted through the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET-10) in two stages:

Stage I: NORCET Preliminary (Qualifying Exam)

• Conducted in Online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode
• 100 MCQs (20 General Knowledge & Aptitude + 80 Nursing Subject)
• Total Marks: 100
• Duration: 90 Minutes
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer
• This stage is qualifying only and will not be used for final merit

Qualifying Percentile:

• UR / EWS: 50 Percentile
• OBC: 45 Percentile
• SC / ST: 40 Percentile
• PWBD: 5 percentile relaxation in respective categories

Candidates equal to 5 times the total vacancies (category-wise) will be called for Stage II.

Stage II: NORCET Main (Final Merit Based)

• Conducted in Online CBT mode
• 160 MCQs (Nursing subject – case scenario based)
• Total Marks: 160
• Duration: 180 Minutes
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark for each wrong answer

Qualifying Marks:

• UR / EWS: 50%
• OBC: 45%
• SC / ST: 40%
• PWBD: 5% relaxation in respective categories

Final Selection

• Merit list will be prepared based on Stage II (Main) performance only.
• Seat allocation will be done as per merit and choices filled by candidates.
• There will be only one round of seat allocation.
• Document verification will be conducted by the respective AIIMS/Institute.
