Short Description: MPPSC SET 2025: Madhya Pradesh State Eligibility Test (SET) 2025 Notification has been officially released by the Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) on 15 October 2025. The SET-2025 aims to determine the eligibility of candidates for the post of Assistant Professor in universities and colleges across Madhya Pradesh. The examination will be conducted on 11 January 2026.
The online application process will start on 25 October 2025 and continue until 20 November 2025 through the official websites www.mppsc.mp.gov.in and www.mponline.gov.in. Candidates belonging to the General category are required to pay an application fee of ₹500, while reserved categories including SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwD candidates of Madhya Pradesh will pay ₹250.
The exam will consist of two objective-type papers— Paper-I on Teaching and Research Aptitude (50 questions, 100 marks) and Paper-II on the subject chosen by the candidate (100 questions, 200 marks). Both papers will be conducted on the same day without any break. Importantly, there will be no negative marking for wrong answers.
Subjects include Commerce, Management, English, Hindi, Law, Education, Political Science, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Computer Science, and many others. Eligibility requires a Master’s degree with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories).

MPPSC SET Exam Online Form 2025 Selection ProcessSingle Stage – Written Examination (Eligibility Test):- The selection will be based entirely on the written examination conducted by MPPSC.
- The exam will consist of two objective-type papers:
- Paper I: General Paper on Teaching and Research Aptitude – 50 questions, 100 marks.
- Paper II: Subject-specific paper chosen by the candidate – 100 questions, 200 marks.
- Both papers will be held on the same day in one session (3 hours total).
- No negative marking is applicable for incorrect answers.
