Educational Qualification for Protection Officer Post

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) from a University established by law in India
  OR
• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from a recognized University
  OR
• A Master’s Degree in Sociology from a recognized University

Important Notes (as per notification)

• The educational qualification must be completed before the last date of application.
• Degrees obtained from recognized universities only will be considered valid.

RPSC Protection Officer Salary & Pay Scale

• The post of Protection Officer is placed under:
  Pay Matrix Level – 11
• Grade Pay: ₹4,200
• Pay Scale:
  As per Rajasthan Pay Matrix Level-11, applicable after completion of probation period.

During Probation Period

• The selected candidate will receive a Fixed Pay, as prescribed by the Rajasthan Government rules during the probation/training period.

After Probation

• On successful completion of the probation period, salary will be paid according to:
  • Pay Matrix Level-11
  • Applicable allowances as per Rajasthan Government norms (from time to time)

RPSC Protection Officer Selection Process

The selection for the post of Protection Officer will be carried out through the following stages:

1. Written Competitive Examination

• Candidates will be selected through a written examination conducted by RPSC.
• The written exam will be objective type (Multiple Choice Questions).
• The examination scheme, syllabus, and marking system will be as prescribed by the Commission.

2. Merit List

• A merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination.
• Candidates will be called for further process strictly according to their position in the merit list.

3. Document Verification

• Candidates shortlisted on the basis of merit will be required to appear for document verification.
• Original documents related to educational qualification, age, category, and other eligibility conditions must be produced.

4. Final Selection

• The final selection will be made after successful verification of documents and fulfillment of all eligibility conditions mentioned in the notification.
